There are no parking facilities at this building, however pay and display parking is available directly in front of the court building (accessed via Stamford Street West). Limited street parking is also available in the vicinity of the court (around Hodgson Street).

Hearing Loop

Fixed infrared hearing enhancement systems are fitted in each courtroom. A portable hearing loop system is also available for use in all areas of the building by prior arrangement. Please contact the court by telephone or email to let us know your requirements.

For safety and security, all users and their possessions will be searched by security when they enter the building. We have a security arch. Please alert the security officer if you have a pacemaker.

A lift is available to access the first floor. The width of the lift door is 78cm and the weight restriction is 630kg.

Public toilets

Public toilets are located on the first floor in the foyers off the main entrance and cafeteria area. There are also toilet facilities available on the ground floor.

Disabled toilet

Accessible toilets are located on the first floor and can be accessed via the double doors off the main entrance foyer and cafeteria area. Accessible facilities are also available on the ground floor, off the concourse for courts 9 & 10.

Refreshments

The cafeteria serving hot food, drinks and snacks is open from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday. There is a vending machine offering cold drinks and snacks (located in the cafeteria seating area). A fresh drinking water dispenser is located on the main court concourse outside court 1.

Interview room

There are four interview/consultation rooms available on the ground floor and five rooms available on the first floor. Please ask a Court Usher to direct you to an available room.

Waiting Room

The main public waiting area is located on the first floor outside courts 1 & 2. There is a separate waiting area outside courts 3 & 4 and a further waiting area for courts 9 & 10, which has a separate entrance at the side of the court building. There is a separate witness suite waiting area with toilet and kitchen facilities, located on the first floor.

Baby changing facilities are available on the first floor. A suitable room for breastfeeding will be provided upon request.

Video facilities

Court/hearing room video conferencing facilities and prison to court video link facilities are available in three courtrooms. There are three video link booths available for third party use by prior arrangement. Please contact the court by telephone or email.
